Be Adwise 2: Pack Order Form

Teachers can use the form below to order Be Adwise 2, the new and FREE primary teaching resource about media literacy and advertising from Media Smart ®. Alternatively, you can call our helpline on 020 7401 4070.

Following the huge demand for our first media literacy pack – Be Adwise - the Be Adwise 2 resources have been developed with leading UK media literacy experts to support curriculum areas including Literacy, English and Citizenship. They also support Mathematics, PSHE/PSE/PSD, Technology, Art and ICT education. The materials will encourage creative active learning and use games, role play, children’s own experience and an interactive DVD to help pupils to understand advertising.

There are three modules to choose from:

1. An introduction to advertising (for 6-11 year-olds)
2. Advertising aimed at children (for 7-11 year-olds)
3. Non-commercial advertising (for 7-11 year-olds)

Each module is supplied as a resource pack containing teacher's notes, curriculum information and lesson plans, photocopiable material for pupils, examples of real adverts from a range of media, and an interactive DVD with advertising clips and teaching materials.

The first 500 schools to order Be Adwise 2 will get a FREE copy of the Game of Life Media Smart ® edition, suitable for 4-8 players, ages 6-11.

Demand will be met on a first-come first-served basis while stocks last, and modules and the game will be available from September 2004. You can order a maximum of three different modules, and you will be sent Module 1 automatically if you have ordered Module 2 or 3.
